I was really unhappy with my smile. I didn't like smiling, I used to cover up my mouth.

Teeth straightening treatment needn't be a chore. At Denchic Dental Spa in Crouch End we are keen to point out that orthodontics doesn't have to equal obvious metal braces; there are numerous more discreet ways to straighten your teeth, with minimal impact on your day-to-day life.

At our North London dental spa we know that choosing to straighten your teeth is a big and very personal decision. We also believe that everybody deserves a smile to be proud of, which is why we offer free consultations for anyone interested in orthodontic treatment.

Don't let a fear of braces put you off getting the gorgeous, straight smile you've always dreamt of. Instead, come to see us or call us for a chat. What if we told you that, in many cases, teeth straightening treatment doesn't need to involve braces at all?

Invisalign is one of the most popular teeth straightening products in the world, with more than 2.5 million happy customers to date. This is a series of clear, removable aligners that are custom-designed to fit your teeth precisely, gently guiding them into a new position.

Invisalign

Your dentist can use Invisalign to treat a wider range of orthodontic issues than some cosmetic brace systems, including crooked or protruding teeth. Made from clear plastic, the aligners are practically invisible to the untrained eye, meaning that most people won't even notice you are having treatment until you unveil your beautiful new smile.

In addition, because Invisalign aligners are removable, they have minimal impact on your daily life. You can take them out for short periods to eat and drink, to brush and floss your teeth, and to clean, meaning there is no need for any special hygiene techniques, unlike with fixed braces.

Thanks to the advanced 3D computer software behind Invisalign, your dentist will be able to show you what results to expect before you start treatment. Typically, treatment takes between eight and 18 months, depending on the type and amount of correction required. Your dentist will let you know how long your treatment should last, and how many aligners you will need, at your initial consultation. You change your aligner every fortnight as your teeth begin to move.

We offer both standard Invisalign treatment for adults and Invisalign Teen, specifically designed for teenage teeth, at our North London dental spa.
